LRZIP on Mac
Short answer: Yes. ZipGood can create and extract unencrypted LRZIP archives on macOS. Encrypted .lrz archives are not supported.
What is LRZIP?
LRZIP (Long Range ZIP) is a compression program and format designed for very large files. It removes long-range redundancy before compressing, which can produce much smaller files for large datasets.
ZipGood and LRZIP
ZipGood can create LRZIP-compressed files and extract unencrypted .lrz archives. Encrypted LRZIP archives can only be decrypted with the lrzip command-line tool, so ZipGood does not support them.
Encrypted .lrz archives are not supported. Unencrypted .lrz files work normally.
